Winged Wonders Weekend Course
Birds connect Alaska to the world! Learn the fascinating ecology of resident and migratory birds found in the Fairbanks area. This non-credit course taught August 3-5 by Alaska Songbird Institute includes classroom and field components. Spend time at the Creamer's Field Migration Station, with opportunities to see wild birds up close, learn research techniques, and discover how local research contributes to long-term bird conservation. Take a Walk Down Memory Lane
Distinguished retired faculty have been invited to share with us their wisdom, their memories, and highlights from their careers at UAF via the Down Memory Lane series. Veteran journalist Robert Hannon will host Down Memory Lane every Monday night from June 11 through August 6, at 7 pm in the Elvey Auditorium on the UAF campus. Click here to see this year's lineup.
